With the flushly built-in 2-port USB 3.0-ExpressCard adapter ECUSB3S254F you can add two USB 3.0 ports to an ExpressCard-capable laptop.
The USB 3.0 card is designed so that it is flush into a standard 54- MM-ExpressCard slot of a laptop can be installed. improved performance with UASP
UASP is supported in Windows 8, Server 2012 and Linux Kernel 2.6.3 or higher. In tests, UASP showed up to 70 % higher reading speed and 40 % higher writing speed compared to a conventional USB 3.0 in the case of peak performance.
In the test, Uasp also showed an 80 % reduction in the need for processor resources.
Test results were obtained with an Intel Ivy Bridge system, USB 3.0 additions from Startech.com, a UASP-capable Startech.com case and a SATA III Solid State Drive.
