The PCI Express-Seriell /Parallel card with Breakout cable PEX2S1P553B combines the functionality of parallel and serial cards by adding 2 serial RS232 ports and 1 parallel port via a single PCI Express.
The card is suitable for almost every computer thanks to low profile/half height design and supplied standard slot sheet. The supplied breakout cable turns 3 ports from a single connection of the card and thus avoids too tight connections, as often occur at fixed/static ports. Compatible with a variety of operating systems, including DOS, Windows 7/Server 2008 R2/XP/Server 2003/2500/98SE (32/64 bit), Linux and Mac OS X.
Individual chip design for optimal speed and reliability while reducing CPU power by up to 48 % compared to conventional (bridge chip) cards.
