The Lindy USB 3.0 active extension uses active electronics to extend the cable length of a USB 3.0 devices by 10m. Data transfer rates up to 5GBit/s are still supported. The USB 3.0 active extension with USB plug type A and USB socket Type A allows the connection and flexible positioning of USB devices type A such as storage media or webcams at a greater removal of PCs, laptops and tablets. Up to 2 active extensions can be switched up to a distance of 20m in a row.
