The ex-44064 PCI-Express I/O card provides four serial RS-232 High Performance UART 16C1050 outputs. It has been developed to expand four other serial ports for PC, small workstation or server via the PCI Express Bus. The card is compatible with PCI-Express Plug-and-Play and has no problems with IRQ and I/O addresses. In addition, +5V or +12V on PIN 9 of the serial plug is configurable for a POWER Over System).
