The MIP480 is a needle printer that was specially developed for printing in mobile use environments. Solutions on handhelds (PDA's) and notebooks are used. It combines speed, flexibility and robustness and thus represents an ideal output device for transport papers and other mobile applications.

The MIP480 is also an interesting alternative for prints in warehouse logistics and safety technology.
The MIP480 is up to 480 characters per second (400 CPS at 10 CPI) and produces excellent text with the 24-pin printing head - and graphic prints, both on endless forms and single leaves and can process up to four sashes (1 original + 3 copies). The printer supports a number of emulations such as IBM Proprinter X24E and Epson ESC/P2. In addition to a serial and a USB interface, the printer can also be upgraded with Bluetooth or WiFi interface.
The MIP480 is therefore the optimal device if multiple sets or endless paper must be printed on site.
