The Bintec R3800 is an SHDSL router specially developed for high-speed Internet access. It achieves a transmission capacity of up to 9.2 Mbps after connecting to an 8-wire copper cable. With us you get the new router in bulk, for the immediate connection in your enterprise, a branch or a home office.
In addition, the Bintec R3800 with VPN offers a performance feature, which is used primarily in the company, for example, to enable mobile users to access the internal company network. The extensive IPSec implementations support you in setting up a VPN infrastructure, with ten active IPSec tunnels already being installed.
A special feature of the Bintec R3800 is the support of the SHDSL connection. These are mainly used in the business environment because they offer a symmetrical bandwidth. In particular, hosting services and virtual workstations benefit from an equal transmission speed in the upstream and downstream. Other areas of application would be, for example, video conferencing.
The numerous software features completely round off the Bintec R3800. An integrated firewall, an optional content filter and user-defined rules leave practically no wishes open with regard to network security. To configure the SHDSL Router, you can use the HTTP Configuration Wizard, an HTML interface or encrypted communication via SSH.
