The Lindy USB 3.0 activated cable uses active electronics to extend the cable length of a USB 3.0 devices by 10m. Data transfer rates up to 5GBit/s are still supported. It has a USB connector type A and a USB plug type B and thus enables the direct connection of USB devices with USB socket type A such as printer and flexible positioning at a greater distance.
The Lindy USB 3.0 Activated cable is compatible with computers with USB connection Type A. It supports Plug & Play and can be connected quickly and easily. The slim design of the housing enables installation even in spanged conditions. The activated cable is supplied with electricity via the USB bus and should therefore only be used with USB devices with low power consumption or with devices that have its own power supply.
