Next, make sure you have the right tools on hand and fully shut down and disconnect your notebook from the power source. Then, you need to open the case and carefully remove the old RAM from its slot. Insert the new RAM into the free slot and make sure it clicks into place. Finally, you can close the case and start up your notebook again. After upgrading the RAM, it is advisable to check the system settings.
