WEP
The Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) standard is an encryption protocol for wireless networks. This should not only ensure access to the network itself, but also the integrity of the transmitted data. Over time, however, several vulnerabilities have been found, which is why the procedure is now considered insecure.
