Flex Memory Access
With Intel Flex Memory Access, it is possible two memory modules of different sizes in dual-channel mode to operate, which otherwise only works with two equal-sized modules. The trick is that the smaller module indicates the range for dual-channel operation. Runs the remaining portion of the larger module, as usual in single-channel mode. But you should here also are extremely careful how many and which modules are to be used, and what plug-in sequence makes the most sense.
