The ADATA Technology Co. Ltd. was founded in 2001 by Simon Chen. The company is headquartered in Taipei (Republic of China) and employs about 800 people. In addition to various offices in China, ADATA has also positioned in the United States, Russia, India, Korea and the Netherlands. The production is however carried out only in the Chinese factory in Suzhou. The product portfolio includes various ADATA memory solutions for computer systems, as well as a small assortment of accessories for the mobile sector.
