Ubisoft

Ubisoft GmbH is a subsidiary of Ubisoft Entertainment SA, based in Montreuil, France. With many other locations in over 20 countries, Ubisoft is one of the world's leading video game companies, both as a game developer and a publisher. The company was founded in 1986 by five brothers and the story began primarily with the distribution of games. The first own titles were added in the 90s, among others today's mascot Rayman. In the further course, individual development studios were also taken over, including Blue Byte with the "The Settlers" series, for example. We offer video games from Ubisoft for the current game consoles and the PC.

Selection of games

Anno

Since 2007 Ubisoft releases the Anno series, which already contains six titles for Windows and further offshoots for the Nintendo consoles. In the economic simulation you have to open up islands and satisfy your population with different goods. From an initial small settlement it is therefore necessary to form a flourishing city and to populate further islands. To survive against competitors, however, it is also necessary to set up a fleet and an army for protection.

Assassin's Creed

The Assassin's Creed series is developed directly at Ubisoft, primarily by the studio in Montreal. Beside about ten main games there are already many offshoots, whereby all titles were published for various consoles and the PC. The Open World game puts you in the role of an assassin and the plot is always set in a certain time and region. They meet well-known personalities of the respective time and follow the conflict between Assassins and Templars. You have a high freedom of movement and can discover the mostly extensive landscapes freely.

Far Cry

With Far Cry, Ubisoft also distributes and develops an action-adventure computer game. The first version was a pure development of the German studio Crytek, the others were taken over by Ubisoft in Montreal. In addition to the five main titles, there are now also various offshoots and even novels and films have already been produced. The narrated story does not run through the entire series, so that the individual parts are independent of each other in this respect.

The Crew

For racing game fans Ubisoft offers The Crew, which offers an open world and MMO elements. For example, players can travel to cities such as Detroit, Chicago or New York City and back and forth between the west and east coasts of the United States. The numerous vehicles are models of well-known manufacturers such as Aston Martin, BMW, Ferrari or Nissan. The game is available for Windows and other game consoles from Microsoft and Sony.

Rayman

Developed in-house by Ubisoft, Rayman offers everything that jump'n' run fans love. The main character of the same name is controlled by different worlds populated by magical beings. The game has been released for all relevant platforms, which is why it numerous titles in the series. Some of them are also outside the Jump 'n' Run genre. Rayman is particularly striking as a character, as he has neither arms nor legs, but hands and feet. It was created by Michel Ancel in 1992.
