The 2S1P PCI Express card PEX2S531P transforms a PCI Express slot into two serial RS232 (DB9) ports and a parallel port. The adapter card is based on a system's own PCI express single chip design so that you can draw the full benefit from PCI Express-by optimized reliability and speed while reducing the CPU load by up to 48 % compared to conventional serial bridge chip cards.
