The Intel Xeon 5130 integrates two cores that provide the actual processing power with a clock of 2 GHz. In addition, a 1333 MHz FSB clock is given and the included L2 cache is 4 MB in size. Basically, the processor is thus suitable for various tasks in everyday business and can be used for various server services.
For maximum power dissipation, the Intel Xeon 5130 achieves a total of 65 watts (TDP), making the dual-core CPU pleasantly economical. With other integrated technologies, such as the inactivity status or the Intel SpeedStep technology, the processor of course tries to achieve the most efficient operation possible. Virtualization technology VT-x is also supported.
To use the Intel Xeon 5130 dual-core processor in the server, the motherboard needs an LGA 771 socket. Corresponding information can usually be found in the data sheet or in the manual of the server. Please also note the further details of the respective manufacturer. Since no heat sink is included, it should be taken from the previous CPU or ordered separately.
