Description

For a server, the network interface plays a central role, since the services provided are to be used by the respective clients. Use the Sun X4444A PCI Quad Gigabit Ethernet Expansion Card for fast and reliable connectivity. The used server network card is already completely overhauled and ready for immediate use.

The basis for the Sun X4444A network card is the four Gigabit Ethernet ports. Use these for a high-performance connection to your network or put the server in different LANs. If necessary, the interfaces also support lower data rates, including 10Base-T and 100Base-TX.

If you want to use the Sun X4444A Quad Gigabit Ethernet NIC in your server or workstation, you will primarily need a spare PCI slot on the motherboard. After use, the four network ports can easily be accessed via the rear panel and can be connected to the desired remote stations via LAN patch cables.

If you want to use the Sun X4444A PCI Quad Gigabit Ethernet Card in a manufacturer's system, compatibility can also be determined by the part number 501-6522. The network card was developed for the Blade 100, 150 and 1000 systems, but also for the Fire V240 and V890 servers. Other models are listed in the table below.
