The Intel Pentium T2370 is primarily aimed at beginners, which is why it has two cores with 1.73 GHz clock. The FSB clock is 533 MHz and a 1 MB L2 cache is integrated for fast intermediate storage. The CPU is thus equipped for everyday tasks, including office applications, for example.
To protect against malware, Intel has equipped the Pentium T2370 dual-core processor with the Execute disable bit. Energy is saved with the extended SpeedStep technology, however, even under full load the CPU consumes a maximum of 35 watts (TDP). Of course, the latter has a particularly advantageous effect on the battery life.
If you plan to equip your notebook with the Intel Pentium T2370, check in advance if there is a PGA 478 socket on the system board. Often the manual already contains corresponding information, whereby some manufacturers also list all compatible CPUs directly. Once the dual-core processor has been commissioned, no further settings are usually required.
