The Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 dual-core processor comes from the mobile sector of the manufacturer and is therefore particularly suitable for notebooks. Use the used CPU for quick repair or upgrading to get more power. Due to the already completed overhaul, the technical condition is flawless.

The Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 uses two core cores with 2.4 GHz clock speed and a 3 MB L2 cache. In addition, the CPU has a FSB clock of 1066 MHz and controls the 64-bit instruction set. Thus, the processor is suitable for various tasks, but is located primarily in the entry-level area.

Other features of the Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 dual-core CPU include VT-x virtualization technology and advanced Intel SpeedStep technology. The latter should, in particular, keep power consumption as efficient as possible. The maximum power loss is 25 watts (TDP), which is particularly advantageous in mobile devices, as longer battery life is possible.

Whether the Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 CPU is suitable for your notebook can usually be checked in the data sheet or in the manual. Above all, the base of the Hauplatine should be specified there. The processor requires a PGA478 socket, also called socket P. You should also take over the heat sink from the previously used processor, since only the CPU is included in the delivery.
