So you can use the used Core 2 Duo E6405 without hesitation, especially since it has already been completely overhauled.

The two processor cores of the Intel Core 2 Duo E6405 with a clock rate of 2.13 GHz and 2 MB L2 cache are mainly responsible for the performance. The FSB clock is 1066 MHz and the 64-bit architecture is also supported. The CPU is therefore optimally equipped for numerous tasks during operation.

The Intel Core 2 Duo E6405 features VT-x to support virtualization. The extended SpeedStep technology also saves as much energy as possible so that the maximum power dissipation of 65 watts (TDP) is only achieved under full load. Furthermore, the manufacturer has integrated the execute disable bit for better protection against malware.

If you want to equip your server or workstation with the Intel Core 2 Duo E6405 Dual Core CPU, make sure that the required LGA 771 socket is available on the main board. A suitable heat sink is also required, but this can usually be taken over from the old processor.
