Celeron D 340J processor
is primarily aimed at beginners and is therefore used in PCs, which are mainly used in priva
te environments. There the used CPU
can be used for performance increase or repair, whereby the function is of course given without restrictions.
In the Intel
Celeron D 340J, a computing core is responsible for the performance. It works with a 2.93 GHz clock, a 533 MHz
FSB clock and additionally has 256 KB L2 cache memory
. For simpler applications such as web applications or office tasks, the CPU
is therefore suitable without restrictions. Note that only the 32-bit command set is supported.
The Execute disable bit
was integrated in the Intel
Celeron D 340J to increase protection against malware. Furthermore, the used processor
withstands temperatures up to 67.7 °C, which is of course ensured by the heat sink. However, you should make sure that the cooler is designed for the maximum power dissip
ation of 84 watts (TDP).
An LGA 478 or LGA 775 socket is required on the main board of your PC to use the CPU
. Simply insert it there and attach the heat sink. The latter is not included in the delivery, but can usually be taken over by the old processor
