The Intel Celeron 450 is one of the most economical entry-level processors for desktop PCs. Equip your computer with this CPU to provide sufficient power in simple applications, but to minimize power consumption. The used processor can be used directly after receipt, since only optical traces of use are possible.

For the everyday performance in the Intel Celeron 450 provides a processor with 2.2 GHz clock, and 512 KB L2 cache. The FSB clock is 800MHz and the 64-bit instruction set is already built into the processor, giving you a more flexible choice of operating system. In the office area and other similar fields of activity, the CPU is ideally usable.

In the other functions of the Intel Celeron 450 CPU, the thermal monitoring technology and the inactivity status are especially interesting. The latter provides, for example, for a lower energy consumption, if the processor is idle. It also tries to reach the maximum power dissipation of 35 watts (TDP) as rarely as possible.

To operate the Intel Celeron 450 processor, an LGA 775 socket on the motherboard is a basic requirement. Since there is no heat sink in the scope of supply of the used CPU, you should take over this best from the previous component or order separately. Many manufacturers of motherboards and OEM PCs also specify the compatible processors directly in the data sheet.
